Papers relating to the Transport Office: viz: (1.) A statement of the authority under which the rebuilding of this office was undertaken; of the amount of the original estimate; of the sum hitherto expended, either in the building or in the purchase of land, and or the sum wanting to complete the same for use;--together with the names of the persons employed to prepare the plan and estimate, and to superintend the work; and specifying what rate of commission or other remuneration is allowed upon the same. (2.) An account of fees received in this office for the years 1813 and 1814, with the appropriation thereof.
