Ambiveri Canonico e Vescovo, scrittore di antichita. Ebbe una preziosa libreria e una ricca collezione di medaglie. Di lui scrisse l'Elogio in latino Lorenzo Mascheroni (Venezia, 1785, Op. Cat. Culture Class Collection copies 1 & 2 are housed together with an offprint of the article "Rime di diversi celebri poeti dell'Età nostra, 1587: an unrecorded variant imprint" by David K. Kagan, published in the Library chronicle [of the University of Pennsylvania], vol. 34, no. 1, 1973. The article discusses the differences between the two copies of "Rime" owned by the University, which were previously thought to be duplicates, but now are considered variant states of the same issue. The main differences discussed refer to collation (the signatures affected are b,c, A-D, K, M-N, Q, X and Y) and pagination, but they are not substantial enough to prove a different reissue.
