The Irish rebellion, or, An history of the beginnings and first progress of the general rebellion raised within the kingdom of Ireland, upon the three and twentieth day of October, in the year 1641 : Together with the barbarous cruelties and bloody massacres which ensued thereupon / by Sir John Temple, Kt. Master of the Rolles, and one of his Majesties most honourable Privy Council within the kingdom of Ireland ; To which is added, The state of the Protestants of Ireland under the late King James's government ; in which their carriage towards him is justified, and the absolute necessity of their endeavouring to be freed from his government, and of submitting to their present Majesties is demonstrated.
