- Summary:
- Here concludes a 20-volume series, the first half covering nanotechnologies for the life sciences, and the second half covering nanomaterials for the life sciences. Researchers in the physical and biomedical sciences and engineering explore applications of organic nanomaterials. The first section analyzes nanostructured gels, interfaces, carriers, and polymerosomes created using organic molecules. The second considers more traditional organic nanoparticles, including polymeric nanoparticles. The third introduces more sophisticated nanoscaffolds, nanotubes, and nanowires. Specific topics include a computational approach to self-healing organic nanogels, core-shell polymeric nanomaterials and their biomedical applications, and modifying the architecture and surface of nanofibrous scaffolds for tissue engineering.
