Penn Libraries copy bound in full contemporary calf over indented wooden boards; boards tooled in gold (now largely worn away); left board has central rectangular panel (Christ Child holding orb and cross, with motto: DIS IST MEIN GELIPTER SON MATH .17.) with owner's forename ("Margretha") above and surname ("Moserin") beneath, the whole surrounded by a roll frame of putti and 4 different escutcheons (arms of Saxony; arms of the electors of Saxony; unidentified arms featuring a raptor displayed; unidentified arms featuring a lion rampant); right board has central rectangular panel (Adam, Eve and the serpent with the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, with motto: SEMEN MVLIGEREIS CONTERET CAPVT TVVM GENESIS .3.) with the date "1569" above and ornaments below, the whole surrounded by a roll frame including the same elements as that of the left board; 4 raised bands on spine; blind-tooled(?) spine panels; 2 leather and metal clasps with metal catchplates.
