Summary:
"Discovering My Father's Village - Edincik" is a "poetic documentary" about the artist's roots in Turkey and the relationship between Turkey and Armenians throughout history and today. For this movie, Apo traveled to his father's village to interview villagers, who directly or indirectly talk about the Armenian Genocide of 1915 and 1922, and to record dilapidated Armenian homes. Since the film was released in 2003 and Apo began lecturing about the subject of the Armenian Genocide in public, he now cannot return to his homeland of Turkey"--www.armeniapedia.org
