- Summary:
- A journalist and owner of news services, Sacino has also studied children's rights. Here she comments on the article of the Convention that calls for children to have access to information and material from a diversity of national and international sources, especially those aimed at the promotion of the children's social, spiritual, and moral well being and physical and mental health. She begins by comparing it to related human rights provisions, then looks at its scope, and its implementation from the perspective of the committee. A final section surveys challenges, among them private sector guidelines, the participation of children, and the Internet's influence on the future. There is no index.
