Hymn dedicated to the Hindu deity and monkey lord Hanuman taken from the Brahmāṇḍapurāṇa; title refers to the "breastplate" or "armor" (kavaca) of Hanuman, which can be evoked symbolically through the recitation of this set of prayers and mantras.
