- Letter book containing containing copies of outgoing correspondence for the printer and stationer, F. W. Mason. Earliest dated entry is 26 November 1898; the last dated entry is 19 September 1900. The bound volume of approximately 1000 letters covers commercial activities such as dealing with creditors and poor-quality suppliers; correspondence with customers over books wanted; letters to major publishers such as Sampson Low, Eyre & Spottiswoode, and T. Nelson & Sons about returning unwanted items and requesting other items, such as religious and school books; ordering stationery such as drawing books and copying ink pencils; correspondence with suppliers of engraved local views and postcards; sending payment to bookbinders for binding; and requesting printed forms.
