- William Romaine Newbold's marginal and interleaved annotations, in black and red ink, in published copies of vols. 3 and 4 of the following edition of Plato, edited by Immanuel Bekker, and reprinted by Priestley in 1826: Platonis et quae vel Platonis esse feruntur vel Platonica solent comitari scripta graece omnia ad codices manuscriptos recensuit variasque inde lectiones (Londini: excudebat A.J. Valpy, A.M., sumptibus Ricardi Priestley). The annotations are generally undated; however, vol. 3 contains a pencilled notation dated 1922 (Beg. Oct. 26. 22; p. 45).
