- On a weekday morning in November,1985, 35 heavily armed members of the terrorist group M19 stormed the Federal Palace of Justice in Bogotá, Colombia. Following a bloody assault by the Colombian military, everyone in the building is accounted for as rescued, imprisoned, or killed, except for twelve cafeteria employees. 28 years later, the commandant of the rescuing forces is the first in the chain of command to be put on trial for torturing and murdering the twelve employees, whom he suspected of conspiring with the guerilleros.
