Comus : a mask (now adapted to the stage) As alter'd from Milton's Mask at Ludlow-Castle, which was never represented but on Michaelmas-Day, 1634, before the Right Honorable the Earl of Bridgewater, Lord President of Wales : The Principal Performers were The Lord Brackley, Mr. Tho. Egerton, The Lady Alice Egerton : The music was composed by Hr. Henry Lawes, who also represented the attendant spirit.
