- Photographs by and of an unidentified soldier in the United States Army serving in the India-Burma Theater during World War II. Numerous pictures of local inhabitants in both urban and rural settings, with relatively few photographs of military personnel or equipment. Locations include Karachi (now in Pakistan), Burma, and a U.S. military cemetery. The cover of the album has a map of India (including Pakistan and Burma) and the date 1945-1946 painted on it, but a photograph near the end of the album is captioned with the date November 5, 1943.
