Summary:
Inspired by the events of 1980-1984 in the internal war in Peru between the state and the Sendero Luminoso (Shining Path), a Maoist terrorist organization. A contingent of soldiers arrive to take control over a remote village. A young soldier sees the brutality of the terrorists against the people, but he also becomes caught in the web of confusion, injustices and impotence of the army. He decides to desert.
