- Summary:
- From its very first performance, the play 'Sizwe Bansi is dead' has been a very important and highly collaborative work, constantly rewritten by the Serpent Players (i.e.: the original actors and the author). In this film, Fugard, Kani and Ntshona sit around a table on a rooftop in New York City and attempt to block out an upcoming performance on a new stage, and rough out an ever-changing script in order to maximize the impact of the play's message.
