Summary:
This large archaeological monograph provides detailed analysis of excavations conducted in the Insula IX section of the Roman town Calleva Atrebatum, near the southern English city of Silchester. The work at the site was conducted between 1997 and 2005 and this volume provides a comprehensive discussion of the dig process and artifacts and other discoveries. The material includes 150 illustrations and figures, many in color, as well as 100 tables of archaeological data.
