Waterway across northern Florida for barge traffic. Letter from the Secretary of War transmitting the letter from the Chief of Engineers, United States Army, dated June 12, 1942, submitting a report, together with accompanying papers and an illustration, on a review of reports on the Atlantic-Gulf Ship Canal, Florida, with a view to determining the advisability of constructing a waterway across northern Florida, of suitable dimensions for barge traffic, and over the most practicable route, to connect the existing intracoastal waterways along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts, requested by a resolution of the Committee on Rivers and Harbors, House of Representatives, adopted on March 27, 1942, and correspondence in relation thereto.
