Illinois River, Ill. Letter from the Secretary of War transmitting a letter from the Acting Chief of Engineers, United States Army, dated September 30, 1941, submitting a report, together with accompanying papers and illustrations, on a review of reports on the Illinois River, Ill., with a view to ascertaining the damages by seepage and other factors to the levee and drainage districts bordering the river, and to individual landowners within said districts, by the prosecution of the existing navigation project, requested by resolution of the Committee on Rivers and Harbors, House of Representatives, adopted on February 10, 1937.
