Regarding editorial changes to Tagore's manuscript of an essay entitled "My Parting Wish for the Women of America." Four versions of the manuscript are included: A handwritten, edited version of the manuscript in Wiley's hand (3 leaves); one typescript version of the essay signed by Tagore (14 leaves); one typescript with editorial notes and changes (23 leaves); and one unmarked typescript (23 leaves). One letter is signed by W. W. Pearsons, writing on behalf of Tagore. Magazine clippings with images of Tagore are also included (2 leaves).
