Amending section 2733 of title 10 of the United States Code, to include authority for the settlement of claims incident to the noncombat activity of the Coast Guard while it is operating as a service in the Department of Transportation, to increase the authority which may be delegated to an officer under subsection (G) of section 2733 from $1,000 to $2,500, and for other purposes.
