- Summary:
- Upset by her con-man uncle, Consuela deserts him in Hawaii and goes out on her own. She becomes a successful cabaret singer under the assumed name (and persona) of Lu. A gaggle of admiring sailors help her in her quest to become Miss Honolulu, while her uncle, unaware of Lu's real identity, is romancing the wealthy society matron who is sponsoring the beauty contest.
