Local Notes:
Culture Class Collection copy has a ms. inscription, partially crossed out, which reads "Dom Dionisio da Gloria Caturro(?)", on the title page. In the same hand is written a ms. bibliographic note, in Portuguese, on leaf pi2, identifying the author of this work, and specifically contrasting the error of the spine title as bound, which reads "Ioannes Scotus sermones". This note is written upon a section of the leaf which has been repaired(?) in a manner which obscures a previous ms. inscription. This previous ownership inscription, reads, in part, "Da liuraria dos(?)...(?)iciado Sra. Carmo(?) De Coimbra ...(?)", ending with a ms. shelf-mark "Caixa 8(?) liure [3 / 8]o.(?)"
Culture Class Collection copy acquired for the Penn Libraries with support from the George L. Harrison Foundation for the Encouragement of Liberal Studies and the Advancement of Knowledge, a fund established in 1895 by a donation to the University of Pennsylvania by Charles C. Harrison, in honor of his father. The bookplate on the front paste-down endpaper reads "The Geo. L. Harrison Foundation".
