- Summary:
- Hardly anyone really believed Hitler's "prophecy" on January 30, 1939 when he predicted "the annihilation for the Jewish race in Europe." His pathological illusion that he was facing a Jewish world conspiracy was buttressed when, in August 1941, England and the United States stated their joint aim of destroying the Nazi tyranny. This episode shows the events and motives leading to the decision to murder the Jews in Europe. Eyewitnesses report dramatic turning points on the path to industrialized mass murder.
