Parguez, "Essai sur l'origine lyonnaise d'éditions clandestines de la fin du XVIIe siècle" (plate [IV], fig. 1), in Nouvelles études lyonnaises (Genève : Librairie Droz, 1969)). Another 1682 edition, printed in Amsterdam and described in C.B. Schmidt, Livrets of Jean-Baptiste Lully's tragédies lyriques (LLC 4-11.1), is identical but for the frontispiece, signed "A. Schoonenbeeck" in the Amsterdam edition but unsigned in the Lyon counterfeit.
- Date on title page, printed in Roman numerals with turned "C"s, is misprinted.
- In five acts with prologue; music by Jean Baptiste Lully, libretto by Philippe Quinault after Ovid, Fasti; first performed at Saint Germain-en-Laye, 10 January 1676; revived there 7 January 1682. Cf. Grove music online; CÉSAR online.
- Without the music.
- Engraved frontispiece illustration of Act III, Scene 3.
- Woodcuts: title page device; head- and tail-pieces; initial.
- "Acteurs du prologue": p. 3-4; "Acteurs de la tragedie": p. 9-10; both include cast list.

- Leaf C12 is half-title leaf, probably intended to be bound before the frontispiece.
