Son of Luigi and Luisa de' Medici, nephew of Baccia de' Medici, grandson of Bivigliano de' Medici, and brother of Niccolò de' Medici.
Summary:
Financial documents (including accounts, receipts, and credit records), of Fabrizio de' Medici, concerning the management of his farm, Il Poggio, in Certaldo, outside Florence, and a few letters (Folders 92-100), mostly from his brother Niccolò de' Medici, also dealing with various aspects of rural life. A small number of documents concerning Fabrizio's commercial operations with a textile merchant from Ancona, Giovanbattista Uccellini are also present (Folder 101). An oversize document dated 1556 and pertaining to grain trade (Folder 515) is stored separately.
