- "Zell Dreitzehn (1830-1882?), or 'De le Mano,' [sic] was a successful Austrian magician who traveled to New York in the 1870s due to the area's growing interest in Spiritualism. - Two undated advertisements for performances by "Prof. De La Mano" (i.e. Zell Dreitzehn): one on cream-colored paper with caption title "De La Mano's great magic show and educated animal exhibition" (1 sheet ([2] p.) : ill., port. ; 36 x 12 cm.), containing portraits of the magician and of Dom Pedro, "the Pig with a Human Brain," a brief list of illusions to be performed, admission prices, and showtime on obverse and a teaser for an "Egyptian Vivivsection" illusion on reverse; one on blue paper headed "Prof. De La Mano has arrived, and will positively appear as advertised. We would most respectfully call the attention of the public to our inimitable programme." (1 sheet [2] p. : ill. ; 24 x 15 cm.), containing a brief description of the program (including a list of illusions), admission prices, and showtime on obverse and a border illustrating various illusions on reverse (space in the center left blank for the location and date of the performance to be filled in).
