- Summary:
- Using rare archival photographs, film footage and the shared memories of her granddaughters, this film tells the story of Sinrock Mary, who became the translator for Captain Mike Healy of the ship "Bear," which transported the first Siberian reindeer to Alaska. Through this relationship, Mary became the owner of the largest reindeer herd in the north and the wealthiest woman in the territory.
