Printed many years ago, price 1s. but is now quite out of print, and not to be had for any mony in all London: and therefore the whole book itself is here reprinted along with this treatise.-together. With another treatise on the cure of the gout, a gleet, & a gonorrhæ, without taking any thing at the mouth. "When practitioners reason against this method of cure, they seem more to frighten their patients, than to consult their healths, it being sooner, better, and safer performed in this method, than any other, viz. in the shortest time, without any pain, and with the greatest certainty. Dr. Cockburn. of a Gon. Part 2. ch. I -but practice (says Dr Quincy) does not fall so much into way as it (justly) deserves, for fear of making too short cures. Dispens. p. 637.
