The London new method and art of teaching children to spell and read distinctly and perfectly. : By learning them to know the letters in the several usual prints, the true sounds of dipthongs, then syllables of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 letters, all the rules of spelling, which are exemplified in several chapters. To which are added, chapters to learn the stops and marks, the numeral letters and figures and the usual abbreviations. So as the child may immediately pass from learning this book to read the Bible in less than twelve months time, without the help of any other book. Now, this way of teaching is appointed by most school masters as the best.
