Proposals for publishing, by subscription or order, in one volume, royal octavo, price half a guinea in boards, to be paid on delivery, or on subscription-at pleasure, an original work; never having been before attempted; of the most general use, viz. The estimate-book of rents, interests, and dividends : Of profits, losses, charges, allowances, discounts, duties, drawbacks, and bounties; covering insurance, and average losses; dividends on bankrupt-estates; exchanges, and arbitration of exchanges; differences in weights and measures of all kinds, in all countries, &c. &c. the universal tables, for buying, selling, and speculations, in lands, houses, the public funds, and the stocks of the public companies; and in every article of produce, manufacture, merchandize, &c. the per-cent-book. To which will be added, tables of annuities certain, annuities on lives, and assurances on lives. For the use of every person of property; gentlemen of the law, and every person acting in turst for others; every proprietor in the public funds, or in the stocks of the public companies, and such as may wish to become properitors; every banker; and every agent, and broker: and of every person in trade. viz. merchant, factor, wholesale-dealer, manufacturer, &c. &c. of every denomination. With an introduction, containing familiar examples of the application of the tables, by inspection, to their extensive and various uses; to render the same perfectly easy to any person.
