Giuseppe Calabi Collection copy bound in red with 5 gilt fillets creating framed design with the same design repeated horizontally in 5 spine panels; morocco doublures with gilt tooled turn-ins have inlaid green leather interlacing pattern creating compartments with gilt central ornaments; patterned silk on recto of front free endpaper and verso of back free endpaper; all edges gilt binding signeded "P. Ruban 1902" on bottom turn-in of upper board; clipped description from bookseller's catalog laid in; printed on "japon et vélin du Marais" with original illustrated wrappers and spine strip retained; housed in marbled paper slipcase.
