Summary:
In 2000, South African filmmaker Feizel Mamdoo and his friend Dumisani Dlamini journey to the "Festival of the Dhow Countries" in Zanzibar in an attempt to understand Indo-African relations in South Africa. For Feizel this is important because he is of Muslim Indian descent and for Dumi, because he is of mixed Indian and African ancestry. In the end, Feizel believes solutions can be found in the outlook of the Sufi mystic Rumi, especially after Dumi is found murdered.
