Written by Benedictus de Spinoza.
Imprint is false. Printer Henricum Künrath identified as Jan Rieuwertsz of Amsterdam or Israel de Paull of Amsterdam. Corrected imprint supplied from Bamberger's article "The early editions of Spinoza's Tractatus theologico-politicus, a bibliohistorical reexamination" issued in Studies in bibliography and booklore, v. 5 (1961), p. 9-33.
Bamberger identifies work as fifth issue (T. 5) of the 1670 edition of Tractatus theologico-politicus, printed after 1677. Work has "Künrath" spelled correctly in imprint, bears woodcut tail-piece of flower basket on leaf (2*) and is wanting errata. Pagination errors from earlier variants corrected but page 192 is paginated as 92.
Printer also identified as Israel de Paull.
Signatures: (*)⁴ (2*)⁴ A-2F⁴ 2G².
Last leaf blank.
Woodcut title vignette and tail-piece.
