Summary:
Documentary film tracing the history and evolution of "Benga," a Kenyan music style that originated on the shores of Lake Victoria in western Kenya in the early 60's and went on to become the most popular music in Kenya. Its tone and tempo made it particularly ideal for the dance craze that was swept through much of the African continent, and the genre is largely credited for the bounce of music from East Africa.
