Letter written by King Louis XIV to the archbishop of Paris [i.e. Cardinal Louis Antoine de Noailles] mandating public prayers for the souls of Louis, Duke of Burgundy, Dauphin of France and his wife Marie Adelaide, Duchess of Burgundy following their deaths less than a week apart.
Signed at end by "Louis, et plus bas, Phelypeaux" with date reading: Ecrit à Marly le 19 février 1712.
