Education and cultural skills (Bildung und kulturelle Fertigkeiten), and social networks and social support (Soziale Beziehungen und Hilfeleistungen) were the special topics of investigation in 1986. Basic demographic and socioeconomic variables (ZUMA-Standarddemographie) were also collected.
