- This special topic poll focused on the O.J. Simpson murder trial, including the role of the news media. Respondents were asked whether the media had done a good or bad job covering the case, whether they had spent too much or too little time on stories about O.J. Simpson and the two victims in the case, whether the stories the news media had reported about the case were mostly accurate, and whether the news media had been too harsh or too easy in their treatment of Simpson.
