Eliraz is about to give birth to their first child, and the soon-to-be mother is anxious to get rid of the old wreck, which she feels is unsuitable for the baby. As the argument heats up [about] whether to junk or invest in rehabilitating the Beetle, Yishai goes on a journey that starts with the previous owners of the Beetle and ends with an attempt to save his old love"--Container.
