- Reviews provisions of 1925 Geneva Protocol banning use of biological and chemical weapons. Includes discussion of DOD use of defoliants and other chemical agents in Vietnam. Shortly after hearings commencement, the President unilaterally rejected U.S. use of biological and chemical warfare, resubmitted the 1925 Protocol for Senate ratification and announced intention of seeking new international accord.
