- Considers legislation to revise the National Labor Relations Act to increase the speed and the efficiency of NLRB handling of labor-management cases; eliminate the requirement of an authorization election before a union-shop contract; require mandatory collective bargaining on employee benefit plans; increase restrictions on industry-wide collective bargaining; outlaw strikes by labor unions which compel employers to agree to violations of the law.
