- Summary:
- Anne, a student in Paris, becomes involved with a group of her brother's arty friends and gets sucked into a mystery involving an American expatriate, a self-destructive femme fatale, a theatre director, and a Spanish activist. The death of the latter provides cause for suspicion of a Fascist plot.
