- Summary:
- Kabir is a rich businessman and there are two women in his life. Nisha is married to him, while Indu is seeking revenge, as she wanted to be his wife. Marriage to Kabir is not a happy one for Nisha as he treats her as if she is inferior to him. She is pregnant and confined to another part of the house, and this puts Indu in a favorable position to have an adulterous relationship with Kabir. After her daughter is born, Nisha leaves Kabir and begins a career as a writer. Her daughter is now grown, and although she was at first forbidden to see her, she hopes that she will be allowed to attend her wedding. As she contemplates her own future she also wonders about Kabir and Indu.
