- Summary:
- During the fifteen years of the hero's imprisonment, Japan's economy growth changed the yakuza world as well. His boss has become a gentlemanlike collector of Chagall's paintings. An enemy yakuza group puts up a sign of a business enterprise on the front and their boss is called president. Yakuzas wear a suit and tie, and drive expensive cars. The girl orphaned at the age of three by her father's blood-shedding incident has now grown up to be a pretty girl who loves Tschaikovsky's piano concerto. This is the day that a son of a yakuza goes to Keio University. Seeing such changes, the hero cannot help feeling an outsider. Keeping his love for the girl secret in his heart, he decides to quit being a yakuza. However, due to obligations binding yakuzas which still exist below the surface change, the hero has to repeat the same thing he did fifteen years ago.
