Summary:
Bull dated Jan. 13, 1504, addressed to Silvio Piccolomini of Siena, confirming his nomination to the office of apostolic scribe by Pius III (see Ms. Coll. 742, Folder 63 and Folder 64). Silvio Piccolomini was a layman when appointed in 1502, but between then and the writing of this bull he had taken religious orders. The lead bull of Julius II is attached to the document by a yellow and red silk string.
