- Summary:
- Chapters 2-4 of Book 8 of the Bhāgavatapurāṇa, telling the story cycle of the elephant Gajendra. The Hindu deity Viṣṇu descends to earth to save the elephant whose had been caught by a crocodile and grants him salvation; manuscript also contains the first verse of the fifth chapter of the eighth book.
