- Summary:
- The first volume in The Edgar Allan Poe Collection contains adaptations of Poe's work including George Higham's award winning stop-motion puppet-animation film inspired by the poem Annabel Lee. The raven is an adaptation of the poem in which one man's self-induced torture over the loss of his lover manifests itself and pushes him over the edge of sanity. The tell-tale heart features Paul Naschy as a man who begins to hear the heartbeat of the man he murdered.
