Summary:
Arthur King (Askey) is a draftsman obsessed with the legend of King Arthur. With his girlfriend in the army and about to be posted overseas, Arthur decides to join up as well. His friends present him with a sword which he imagines to be Excalibur. Posted to the front in France, he gains courage from his sword and performs a series of heroic deeds. When his friends inform him that the sword is not Excalibur, he feels a bit of a fool but still manages to rescue his friends from the enemy.
