The negro law of South Carolina / collected and digested by John Belton O'Neall, under a resolution of the State Agricultural Society of South Carolina, read before them at their September semi-annual meeting, 1848, at Spartanburg Court House, by them directed to be submitted to the governor, with a request that he would lay it before the legislature at its approaching session, November, 1848, and by him ordered to be published for the information of the members.
