Local Notes:
Penn Libraries copy has letter, dated 7 December 1959, and evelope laid in, addressed to Alma Mahler ("Frau Alma Mahler-Werfel") from Miss Heather Judd, Eton College, along with cut-out from a brown envelope showing the same return address. The letter indicates that Judd sent the book to Alma Mahler in the hope that she would autograph the title page and return it. In the letter, Judd also discusses Alma Mahler's memoir And the Bridge is Love, and expresses interest in obtaining a copy of a photograph of Gustav Mahler and daughter Anna, Toblach 1909.
