By Richard de Morins, an English canon lawyer who was archdeacon of Bologna and law professor at the University of Bologna; manuscript of "Summa de ordine iudiciario" was discovered in Douai and first published by Witt in 1851; Richard de Morins is sometimes known as "Ricardus (or Richardus) Anglicus" and is often confused with Richardus Anglicus, a professor of medicine in Paris (d. 1252); work has also been misattributed to Richard Poore, bishop of Chichester and Durham (1153-1237). Cf. Catholic Encyclopedia.
